World Weather Attribution (WWA) is an international initiative that provides rapid, scientifically rigorous studies determining if and to what extent anthropogenic climate change alters the likelihood and intensity of extreme weather events, such as heatwaves, floods, and droughts. Founded in 2015, WWA aims to inform public discourse and disaster response shortly after events occur.
