Parts of the UK are bracing for a fifth heatwave this summer, with temperatures forecast to reach 38°C (Aug, 2026) and the Met Office issuing an extreme heat warning for large parts of England. The repeated heat is occurring alongside widespread drought and a growing number of wildfires.
